City Limits,

By providing a rare platform for different stakeholders to make their voices heard on civic topics, we are not only the largest of New York City’s non-profit civic news organizations but have covered critical issues since 1976.

City Limits has seen its work make a difference in people's lives by laying the groundwork for policy changes and inspiring other organizations to conduct research on the issues we cover. While we are proud that our traditional focus is New York City, the role of New York as a national leader and the uniqueness of our approach have helped us make an impact well beyond the city's borders.
