Glen Baldridge, Zig-Zag: Works on Paper
Presented byArtist, printmaker, and publisher Glen Baldridge presents a selection of new works on paper; zig-zagging between processes, rolling up the co-opting of counter culture by mainstream media and the idolization of adolescent posturing with a healthy dose of sardonic wit. Always pushing the technical and conceptual envelope, these new works represent the past nine months of Baldridge’s collaboration with Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop, Forth Estate, and Dieu Donne Paper Mill’s Master Printers and Master Paper Makers. Baldridge’s paper works hold up a cultural mirror, reflecting our collective addiction to the internet, infomercials, and escapist entertainment.
