Ensuring that all children and adolescents have access to comprehensive affordable health insurance coverage is at the top of Governor Spitzer's health care agenda. Responsibilities:

Large design and construction enterprise is seeking an experienced Site Acquisition Manager to be responsible for coordinating and monitoring construction related activities for the review of potential sites through the start of construction. Duties include site inspection; management of environmental consultants and SEQR process; management of the community review process; initiation of eminent domain proceedings and negotiation of fee and fixture claims; management of site relocation consultants and preparation and management of schedules and budgets; preparation of zoning waiver requests; and related tasks.
The successful candidate must possess a Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university. Five years of full time experience in project management, design, construction, administration, architectural, electrical or mechanical/plumbing estimation or related field; three years must have been in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Preferred consideration for candidates possessing experience working with, and as part of, a multi-disciplinary team of attorneys, planners, architects and engineers in the planning and development stages of capital projects; experience with City and State environmental review practices and procedures (CEQR/SEQR), and Uniform Land Use Review Procedure; and experience with City and State public agencies.
