Lucas Anderson is an associate attorney at Rothman, Schneider, Soloway & Stern, LLP, a New York City law firm which specializes in criminal defense and civil rights litigation. Before entering private practice, Lucas held various clerkships with the ACLU's Washington Legislative Office, the California Appellate Project, and South Brooklyn Legal Services. Lucas has published scholarly articles in legal academic journals on topics ranging from the private prison industry to the structure of New York City's government and the development of the Public Advocate's Office. A proud Brooklyn resident and a graduate of New York University's College of Arts and Science, Lucas received his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School.
