Building Operator Course
Building staff make operations
and maintenance (O&M)

of residents and the
building's energy costs. This
6 half-day course sponsored by
the Association for Energy
Affordability (AEA) and the
Association for Neighborhood &
Housing Development (ANHD)
helps personnel eliminate the
guesswork from managing
building performance for
energy efficiency. Even the
most experienced building
operators and facility
managers will learn new best
practices that will yield
immediate benefits and real
cost savings from modules such
as: preventive maintenance,
water conservation, heating
system operation, and
controls. This course is
facilitated by industry-
leading instructors who bring
years of real world
professional experience to the
classroom. Parts of this
course will take place in
AEA's state-of-the-art heating
and cooling lab, where
students will get practical
hands on training with common
building systems.
