There are changing rooms and a restroom available on the main floor of the studio. Bolsters and blankets will be provided so you can get comfortable. Yoga mats are optional. Feel free to bring your own yoga mat or you can rent one for two dollars. Free homemade, organic breakfast bar included.

For the past three years PEN World Voices and Asia Society have provided a place for dialogues between established and upcoming writers in the United States and Japan. This year Laird Hunt and Matthew Sharpe join Toh EnJoe and Hideo Furukawa for another exciting and provocative cross-cultural literary encounter between Japanese and American writers. Moderated by Motoyuki Shibata and Ted Goossen, editors/translators of Monkey Business, the English-language anthology of newly translated Japanese writing, now celebrating its fourth edition. Book sale and signing will follow the program.

Frederick Schjang the nationally-recognized Fitness educator and innovator who specializes in the Feldenkrais® Method, Pilates and Awareness Through Movement Flexibility Training, has gathered some of the finest Feldenkrais instructors in New York to lead a series of classes and a discussion to explore Brain Plasticity and experience how to open new pathways to easier and more productive movement. Classes to be taught by Feldenkrais instructors including Scott Fraser and Frederick Schjang and Discussion/Q&A hosted by Pat McKay from Sirius X/M Satellite Radio. “Brain Plasticity” is part of the 4th Annual International Feldenkrais Festival.
