Alexandre Arrechea: The Park Avenue Malls Project
Presented by Park Avenue Malls
In spring 2013 Arrechea will present his most ambitious project to date. He will take over the Park Avenue Malls with large-scale (approximately 18 feet high) sculptures of rolled up buildings and spinning "tops" representing iconic buildings in New York City that will roll, wind and spin their way down Park Avenue. They will be installed along the Park Avenue medians from 53rd to 67th Streets. "This project has been entirely designed for Park Avenue," Mr. Arrechea said. "I've picked buildings like the Seagram Building or MetLife that define the city and define Park Avenue."

Then She Fell
Presented by Kingsland Ward at St. Johns, The
Third Rail Projects' 'Then She Fell,' is an immersive theater event inspired by the life and writings of Lewis Carroll ('Alice in Wonderland'). 'Then She Fell' is a fully immersive, multi-sensory experience in which audience members explore a dreamlike world where every alcove, corner, and corridor has been transformed into a lushly designed performance space. Inspired by the life and writings of Lewis Carroll, it offers an 'Alice-like' experience for audience members as they explore the rooms, often by themselves, in order to discover hidden scenes, encounter performers one-on-one, unearth clues that illuminate a shrouded history, use skeleton keys to gain access to guarded secrets, and imbibe elixirs custom designed by one of NYC's foremost mixologists. Only 15 audience members will be present per show.
