Per Diem Mental Health Counselor LCSW/Psychologist
Goodwill Industries of Greater NY and Northern NJ
We are currently seeking a Mental Health Counselor to provide case management and/or individual/group counseling. Responsibilities include case record management, individual and/or group counseling, client services in specialization areas such as substance abuse, wellness, vocational/employment, family and other related therapeutic activities. All job functions will be conducted in accordance with Goodwill's standards and procedures. Records and reports will be assigned and maintained in keeping with program regulations.

This role will also be responsible for managing clients enrolled in the program and all client activities related therein. Familiarity with Veterans Affairs is a plus as well as the long-term unemployed. The Counselor will be able to function independently and demonstrate sound team skills. Some travel to counseling site locations will be required of this position as well as home visits.
The qualified candidate will have a either be a licensed Psychologist or have a Master’s degree in the disciplines of Social Work or Rehabilitation Counseling. LCSW is preferred. Team-based skills required.
