City Limits Speaker Recruiter - NY

We are looking for a motivated and resourceful part-time event planner to assist with recruiting and managing speakers for our nationwide nonprofit educational programs. This is a part-time, remote, contract position. The work is project oriented and involves at least one hour per day. You can learn more about our organization by going to: http://cfnps.org
Each project involves the following tasks: - Speaker Recruitment [Identifying speakers through independent research to speak at upcoming seminars] - Speaker Management [Working with speakers to clarify expectations and requirements] - Speaker Logistics [Working with speakers to prepare for the seminar in which they will be speaking]
The right candidate will have recruited speakers for events, will work well independently and will be highly motivated and organized. Experience with the nonprofit sector is required.
