SCO Family of Services
-Responsible for the development and implementation of individual youth treatment plans. -Oversight for designing and implementing program activities that support the social/emotional treatment plans of the youth being served. -Responsible for creation and oversight of daily program schedule. -Facilitates evening and therapeutic group meetings. -Provides supervision to the youth specialist. -All other duties as assigned
-Bachelor’s degree required in social work or a related field required. -A minimum of two years residential child care experience serving an at-risk adolescent population. -Experience working with LGBTQ youth -This position requires successful completion of Safety Crisis Management (SCM) training, which includes a written test and demonstration of the competency to perform physical restraints, as specified by the program and regulatory body.
Additionally, staff must successfully complete all required SCM refreshers in order to maintain continued employment. -Possess a great desire to positively influence the lives of others. -Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills are necessary. -Ability to work Tuesday thru Saturday and/or Sunday thru Thursday with evening shifts up to 9:00pm as required. -A valid driver’s license from NY, NJ or CT required.
