Social Work Coordinator of Mental Health
Hour Children seeks a LCSW with 5 years experience to fill a senior position for Social Work Coordinator of Mental Health. Responsibilities include: Coordinating services at Hour Children residential/wrap-around services in the community and services at Taconic and Bedford Hills Correctional facilities; Advising/Assisting with screening of candidates who request release to Hour Children; Conducting Case Management meetings with staff, Working closely with Coordinators of all programs; Assisting women in reuniting with children, Working with NYS Parole, Maintaining an accurate tracking system for reporting purposes. Reports to Executive Director.
Qualifications Include: LCSW, Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; Ability to work effectively with a diverse population, Computer Literate. Must have a valid NYS Driver's License.
