Hour Children seeks a LMSW with 2-3 years experience in Case Management to ex offenders residing at Hour Children and to conduct group counseling sessions.
Responsibilities Include: Working closely with all department coordinators and housing staff; Meeting weekly with clients to help them meet stated goals; Referring clients to on-site therapists and drug programs; Assisting clients with formation of career goals; Assisting women in reunification with children. Reports to Mental Health Coordinator
Qualifications Include: LMSW, Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, comfortable working with a team, ability to work effectively with people of diverse cultures and backgrounds; Computer Literate; Knowledge of criminal justice system and/or experience with ex- offenders preferred. Must have a valid NYS Driver's License.
