Director of Information Technology
This is a full-time, salaried position. Hours are Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5 PM. F/T Employees are entitled to benefits, three weeks' vacation, nine holidays and three personal days per year. After 30 days employees are eligible for medical, dental and life insurance. Salary is competitive.
•Researches and develops hardware & software solutions, provides technical assistance to address technology problems such as business continuity, networking , telecommunications, regulatory compliance, etc.
•Develops project plans with timelines and milestone deliverables.
•Creates and maintains documentation with respect to Agency technology and compliance practices related to IT
•Provides hands-on development and coordination of pilot projects relating to use of technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
•Directs and prioritizes the work load of subordinate personnel.
•Assists with the repair of computer equipment.
•Assist Senior VP as necessary as well as assumption of any other duties as may be assigned.
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and at least four years’ experience working in information technology. Microsoft certifications are a plus.
•Solid project management experience.
•Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
•Self-starter, quick learner, able to share technical knowledge with non-technical staff, making it easy to understand.
•Ability to collaborate with individuals with diverse work styles at all levels of Agency.
•Highly organized with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and motivate professional staff
•Familiarity with HIPAA, HIT, EHR’s, regulatory compliance standards and emerging technologies
•Understanding of general business, health care, and health coverage issues desirable
•Proficiency in MS Office, Win7, Win 8, Windows Server 2008, familiarity with active directory, and MS-Exchange. Competence in break fix in desktop computers and peripheral devices, printers, smart phones, and tablets
