Description
The NYC Campaign Finance Board, a nonpartisan, independent agency that enhances the role of New York City residents in elections, seeks an experienced Network Administrator. We offer a dynamic work environment, training, growth potential and excellent benefits. Applicants must have 2 to 3 years of experience administrating a complex network.

Responsibilities:

•Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls and websites
•Monitor network bandwidth utilization, and server performance
•Configure and manage the storage space on the SAN
•Manage Windows Active Directory domain and infrastructure
•Assist with resolving complex network and desktop issues

Qualifications:

•2 to 3 years of experience working with Windows Servers and Active Directory domain with Microsoft Exchange Server
•2 to 3 years configuring and managing CISCO switches, routers and ASA firewalls
•2 to 3 years of experience configuring IIS and website administration
•2 to 3 years managing an EMC VNX 5100 or Similar SAN with fiber switches
•2 to 3 years of experience installing and configuring Windows Server OS on HP Servers running VMware virtual environment
•1 to 2 years of experience using Symantec BackupExec or similar enterprise level back-up solution
•2 to 3 years of experience using DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and VPN
•Experience setting-up and monitoring business DR/BC sites
•2 to 3 years of experience of installing and configuring operating systems on the desktops, primarily Windows 7
•4 to 5 years of experience in PC desktop and laptop support and troubleshooting, including internal components, peripherals, and applications
•2 to 3 years of experience with Windows clients in a Windows Active Directory domain environment
•Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server administration
•2 to 3 years of experience supporting and troubleshooting networked printers and scanners
•Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 2013 suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
•2 to 3 years of experience using Symantec Ghost and Antivirus software
•Excellent customer service, organizational skills and the ability to multitask
•Must be physically capable of lifting and moving up to 35 lbs
•Experience with Citrix is a plus
•NYC residency must be obtained within 90 days of starting position
