Licensed Social Worker (LCSW or LMSW) - Part-time (20 hours/wk) with flexible schedule Project Renewal's innovative and award-winning In Homes Now Program provides 230 formerly homeless men, women and families with permanent supportive housing. In this program, the multi-disciplinary team works together to ensure that each tenant successfully remains in their housing, utilizing a harm reduction approach for 105 of the clients. Housing is provided through independent apartments rented by Project Renewal in the Bronx, Brooklyn and Manhattan.

We are offering a competitive salary, commensurate with licensing and experience. This is a part-time position, 20 hours/wk with flexible days, M-F. It is the perfect role for a social work professional looking for part-time work in a unique, team-based program. Schedule flexibility will generally allow us to work around private practice hours, if applicable.

Specific job responsibilities include the following: providing ongoing therapy on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis for each client, depending on the client’s specific needs; conducting visits to homebound clients; providing crisis intervention and consultation when needed; completing necessary documentation for SSI/SSDI applications and HRA paperwork; maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation as required by funders; and regular participation in team meetings, trainings and treatment planning.

We are currently seeking a seasoned Licensed Social Worker. Qualified candidates will have an LCSW or LMSW and at least 2 post-master's experience working with individuals who are homeless and/or affected by substance abuse. Strong time management and writing skills are required and candidates must be willing to do field work/ visit residents in their apartments. Spanish fluency a strong plus.
