St. Nicks Alliance, a North Brooklyn community based organization, seeks an energetic, inspiring and experienced manager to serve as the Transformational Coach - Jobs for NABE 3.0 initiative. NABE 3.0 is an exciting new initiative that brings together St. Nicks Alliance's outcomes driven work in employment, education and affordable housing to a targeted area in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, to help children, adults and families overcome the barriers of poverty.

The Transformational Coach will work closely with unemployed or underemployed adults, in particular young adults, in increasing their ability to secure and maintain employment and will manage a cohort of 50-60 clients. This person will be especially skilled at helping residents overcome barriers to employment. The Transformational Coach will provide outreach, conduct workshops, provide counseling, and assist unemployed/under employed residents secure employment. The person hired for this position will have a primary focus working with residents of the NYCHA Williamsburg Houses and Cooper Park Houses. S/he will be engaged in ongoing consultation and in collaboration with NYCHA staff as well as the larger NABE 3.0 team.

The Transformational Coach is an invested individual who will inspire, motivate and guide clients towards NABE 3.0 outcomes and goals and specifically, employment success for unemployed and underemployed adults. S/he will report to the Deputy Executive Director for St. Nicks Alliance.

This position is competitive in salary and includes benefits after a probationary period.

A Master Degree in Counseling, Education, or Social Work with 3-5 years of job related experience preferably in workforce or similar services. Driven to help transform lives and desire to meet outcomes. Excellent documentation, organizational, verbal, motivational and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work as part of a team, multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines. Experience working with low income job seekers. Ability to work some evenings/weekends. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
