As a multifaceted not-for-profit, Henry Street provides innovative social services, arts programs and healthcare services from 17 locations throughout the Lower East Side. Building upon its legacy for innovation and effective programming, Henry Street has grown to offer more than 50 different programs, currently making it one of the most comprehensive settlement house in New York City, as well as one of the City's largest social service agencies. Henry Street is governed by a 45-member Board of Directors and is supported by government grants and contracts, as well as foundation, corporate and individual support.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree required
• 3-5 years project management experience in architectural, owners' representative or construction firm, or comparable building management in a multi-site environment
• Computer proficiency required; Windows applications, Microsoft Word and Excel and familiarity with project management software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work as a team player with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Ability to plan and prioritize workload, multi-task and remain flexible
• Must take a hands-on approach to his/her work

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for construction project management including scheduling, compliance reporting to outside agencies, internal auditing and maintenance of projects in project management software program
• Monitors progress and reports on all phases of a project
• Develops planning documents for initiation of projects to gain approval by Chief Administrator of Facilities
• Coordinates all parties involved in the planning, design, and implementation of projects including liaising with consultants and others within Henry Street Settlement
• Develop and lead cyclic maintenance program for sites
• Responsible for risk management and compliance for the Facilities division
• Assist with conducting building inspections and reporting results to Facilities Chief Administrator
• Assist with budget development and management
• Prepares contracts and monitors their execution and distribution
• Reviews contract plans and specifications for compliance with appropriate building codes and project requirements
• Receives pay requests from professional consultants and contractors and approves for payment
• Maintain departmental files (paper and digital) by scanning and filing to the appropriate areas
• Prepare meeting minutes
• Provide support to Facilities Chief Administrator as needed
