Human Resources Manager
*Administer human resources rules and programs in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
*Oversee the recruitment, testing and selection of new hires as well as internal candidates in accordance with organizational and/or union guidelines.
*Manage payroll processing
*Manage employee benefits enrollment and inquiries
*Track employee leave time
*Run daily/weekly/monthly reports as requested
*Ensure all employee files are up-to-date
*Create employee development plan and keep track of attended trainings.
*Routinely communicate with staff regarding policies and procedures
*Assist directors, managers and supervisors with employee relation issues, including discipline matters.
*Maintain accurate records, files and reports including the responsibility for maintaining personnel records
*Develop internship programs
*Order all office supplies and equipment
*Coordinate troubleshooting with IT Company regarding technology issues.
*Keep inventory of supplies and ensure that needed supplies are available at all times
*Other related HR projects and Office Management duties as assigned
*Report to organization's Executive Director on a regular basis
•Bachelors Degree required
•3+ years experience in a Human Resources position
•Knowledge of human resource practices and principles.
•Ability to handle, maintain and control confidential information
•Knowledge of employee benefits
•Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of personalities.
•Must possess a positive attitude, a sense of urgency and the ability to smile under all circumstances.
•Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
•Well organized with an ability to manage sensitive data
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a desire to foster a positive work environment
