Description
Requirement: High School Diploma required, Bachelor's in Psychology, Human Services or Sociology with experience preferred. Minimum one year experience in healthcare setting; date entry experience a plus. Must have knowledge of the following:
* Social Services agencies and resources in the NYC area.
* HIV and HIV testing.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team and be able to write reports and correspondence. Bilingual, Spanish preferred.
Responsibilities: Works as part of interdisciplinary team to help patients and community members have access to rapid HIV testing. To conduct rapid HIV testing for individuals in Institute health centers, programs and community events. Provide education to patients and community members on HIV testing and HIV in general.
