Description
Under direct supervision of Director of the Collective, the primary functions of this position include on-going training and technical assistance to providers of mental health services in the New York City, Long Island Regions and in select upstate areas.

Summary of Qualifications and requirements: The following are the basic qualifications and requirements for this position: o Literacy in English, and preferably also in Spanish o Previous experience in the design and delivery of training and technical assistance to providers in; 1) Recovery Orientation, 2) Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Readiness and 3) Person-Centered Treatment Planning and Documentation o Strong writing skills and strong group and meeting facilitation skills o Experience in engaging executive leadership and government of diverse services and programs o Demonstrated experience and training with recovery facilitating practices such as Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) credential and/or Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP); o Proficiency in use of computer technology and MS Office applications including PowerPoint o Preferably, the RFC will have experience in delivering training and technical assistance utilizing a variety of multimedia delivery e.g. web-based technology, such as webinars and/or blogging, experience with Video Streaming and other types of multimedia o Ability to manage multiple training and TA appointments throughout the NYC metropolitan area as well as in select upstate areas. o Willingness to speak and write publicly about personal recovery experiences as examples for training and technical assistance content.

Summary of Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Director of the Collective: o Provide on-going training and technical assistance services for 8-10 provider organizations in one year. o Create training and technical assistance plans in collaboration with and based on the needs of the provider organization. o Contribute to the development of website content and virtual learning community resources. o Assist providers in the development of and execution of an implementation plan in selected programmatic areas. o Support the hosting and convening of statewide and regional events including the NYAPRS Conference, Executive Seminar, PROS Academy and other requested regional events. o Engage learning opportunities to sustain level of knowledge and skill in expected areas of expertise and credentialing e.g. Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) Credentialing Status o Complete all agency and project developed documentation and reporting requirements.
