Description
HELP USA, a nationally recognized leader in the provision of transitional housing, residential and social services, has an opportunity available for a Toddler Teacher.
Responsibilities include: ensuring the safety of all children in the classroom & maximizing the classroom functioning through the use of effective team communication; record keeping & screening; observing children & staff; ensuring that all activities for developmentally appropriate & in accordance with curriculum. The Toddler Teacher will also foster positive socialization, empowerment, as well as physical, cognitive & emotional development of all program participants, adults & children. Facilitate appropriate services for the participants' needs & maintain full utilization. Adhere to all regulatory agency policies & procedures. Bronx location.
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education & one exam passed of NYS Teacher's Certification in N-2 required. Minimum of 2 years paid experience with toddlers.
