Green City Challenge

Description
Green City Challenge is transitioning from an informal structure to a more formal structure. In addition to assistance with planning and execution of our programs, we are seeking individuals with skills, interest and background in organization building and creating a more formal infrastructure in support of our programmatic and administrative activities.

Responsibilities:
Attend monthly board meetings and committee meetings

Be willing to take on a leadership role which may include chairing a board committee

Give an annual personal financial contribution

Qualifications:
Managerial or professional experience with a non-profit organization or corporation

Ability to work in collaboration with other board members and volunteers as well as independently

Strong communication skills

Ability to meet deadlines

Fundraising and/or grant writing experience

Preferred:
Marketing, Legal Affairs, or Digital Technology experience
