Description
Graham Windham, an award winning child welfare agency is seeking a qualified professional for our Program Performance and Planning Department at our Irving Place/NYC Headquarters.
Responsibilities:
Assist case planners and management staff in learning and applying SBC by conducting new staff introductory SBC, intensive SBC, coaches’ and specialized training as well as other training that supports positive behavior change. Develop curriculum. conduct coaching sessions and assess SBC skill acquisition and certification process. Provide additional support and Planning Department at our Irving Place/NYC Headquarters. to the Program Performance and Planning team, as needed. Become a Certified SBC Coach. Coach new case planning supervisors on how to engage families, create SBC family agreements, as well as family and individual plans, and how to coach their staff through difficult case situations.. Coordinateseeking a qualified professional for our Program Performance and review certification assessments. Coach case planning staff to support them in becoming certified in SBC. Conduct case-specific consultations in small case planning groups. Meet weekly with the SBC Manager and coaches at other agencies implementing SBC in NYC, to ensure consistency across agencies. Support the Program Performance and Planning team to conduct case record reviews and data analysis, as needed, to support high quality practice and family and youth outcomes.
Qualifications:
Master’s in Human Services, Social Work or related field Minimum 3 years experience in child welfare 2 years training experience preferred Genuine passion for training/coaching child welfare staff Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities Experience providing consultation to senior managers Familiarity with ACS, OCFS, and other relevant municipal and state agencies Computer literacy including Microsoft Word and Excel Must be detailed oriented, with excellent written and oral skills
Excellent data analysis skills preferred
Must be hospitable, flexible, a team player, and have a passion for serving children and families Must be willing to travel throughout NYC and to Westchester, as needed
