JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: CASEWORKER

REPORTS TO: SOCIAL WORK SUPERVISOR

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Provide clients with on-going supportive counseling, as assigned and supervised by the Social Work Supervisor.

2.Ensure that families are acquainted with, and adhere to, the requirements of the facility.

3.Advocate for assist families in negotiating the service delivery system, to ensure receipt of all entitlements, including permanent housing.

4.Coordinate with other facility staff, including Housing Assistant, Night Crisis Worker, other caseworkers and/or educational liaison, to ensure effective delivery of services to family.

5.Work cooperatively with all facility staff to ensure resident protection from harm, theft and personal injury.

6.Maintain all records and reports required by the facility and oversight agencies.

7.Seek professional growth by use of supervision and participating in in- service training program and conferences.

8.Perform other relevant duties and functions as assigned by the Social Work Supervisor.

Salary $35,000 Yearly

Qualifications:
Qualifications:

1.Bachelors Degree from an accredited College or University.

2.Relevant experience may be substituted for the above.

3.Knowledge of and ability to access the service delivery system.
