The Corporate Representative is responsible for management of participants pre- and post- employment. The position requires strong writing skills and the ability to assess participants' ongoing progress. Corporate Representative (CR) will perform a wide variety of activities including training, telemarketing, administrative, and data input. In addition, the CR will provide follow-up services for our customers once they are placed to ensure that they will succeed on the job and become independent.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
*Managing a caseload of participants in order to prepare them for work and provide supportive services to encourage job retention once employed.
*One-to-one meetings with participants.
*Track progress of participants and utilize both internal and proprietary NYC systems /software to write case histories of the daily interaction with clients.
*Provide conflict resolution when necessary.
*Mentor participants in their transition from welfare to work.
*Keep accurate records in a timely manner.
*Track participant employment by communicating with employers and obtaining employment verifications for submission to the City of New York. Must ensure accuracy of all documentation.
*Administrative abilities needed: strong filing and organizational skills.
1. Bachelor’s degree a must. 2. Strong customer service, communication, writing skills. 3. Analytically strong. 4. Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Advanced degree a plus in Public Administration or similar field a plus. - Bi-lingual a plus
