Located in Newark, NJ, our organization provides structured, team-based opportunities for volunteers to benefit nonprofit organizations and positively impact local communities. Jersey Cares works directly with nonprofits to identify their needs, creates projects to address those needs and recruits volunteers to complete the projects. In addition to our Corporate Service Program, the Monthly Calendar Program enables volunteers to commit only to one date at a time, allowing them to volunteer when and in the ways that best fit their interests and schedules. Last year, Jersey Cares engaged more than 15,000 volunteers who contributed over 40,000 hours of service to their communities. Our organization is small, hands-on and in the midst of rapid growth.
