Associate Director
The Permanent Citizens Advisory Committee to the MTA (PCAC), the legislatively mandated representative of MTA riders, seeks Associate Director to serve as assistant to the Executive Director in administering the PCAC office. The Associate Director will also be primarily responsible for managing PCAC's public communication, including supervision of web and electronic communication and writing, editing, production, and dissemination of research reports and papers.
This position requires strong written and oral communication, research, and management skills, experience in editing, production, and dissemination of written materials, as well as working knowledge of electronic media and communication. Candidates should have a combination of education and experience in Urban Planning, Transportation, Public Administration, or closely related fields sufficient to understand transportation issues in the MTA region, State, and nation. Compensation is commensurate with training and experience and includes a full benefit package.
