Associate Vice President, Workforce Development
Astute Workforce Development Professional for Key Leadership Position Now. Great Opportunity to Join FEGS in a Management Position.
Reports directly to the Senior Vice President, this key position will lead workforce development services with the goal of employing individuals with disabilities: Using a work first approach and employing innovative strategies for engaging employers, areas of responsibility include job placement and post-employment retention services, job readiness instruction and Diagnostic Vocational Evaluation (DVE), and vocational case management. Manage operations to achieve job placement and retention outcomes and milestones through development and implementation of employer prospecting strategies and sector-based approaches, with a focus on quality case management, assessment, instructional and job finding and retention practices, monitoring, evaluation, staff education and feedback, and ensuring that services and activities adhere to internal, contractual, and industry quality assurance standards.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of at least 10 years progressively responsible experience in administering a welfare- to-work, workforce development or similar social service program, ideally serving individuals with disabilities, cash assistance applicants or recipients and/or individuals with other barriers to employment and the ability to manage a large staff to achieve performance-based goals. Master’s Degree in Social Work, Vocational Rehabilitation, Public Health, Health Administration or related field required.
