Development Associate
Hope Community, Inc.
Description
The Development Associate is the fundraising staff member for Hope Community, Inc. In collaboration with the Executive Director, the Board of Directors, and the Business Manager the Development Associate plans and implements all fundraising strategies and works with consultants, volunteers, and program staff to carry out development initiatives related to the operations and programs of the organization
Responsibilities:
•Research government and foundation funding requests
•Work with teams of program and administrative staff to develop program designs and proposal concepts
•Author and revise all grant proposals
•Track all current and future grant calendars
•Maintain a positive and productive relationship with current funders
•Assist in the implementation and evaluation of the agency’s individual giving plan.
Qualifications:
•Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
•Excellent communication skills both written and oral
•Willingness to take initiative
•Ability to be creative and think outside the box.
•Experience with community based organization and fundraising
•High level of commitment to, and enthusiasm for, promotion of Hope Community's mission.
