Description
St. Nicks Alliance is currently seeking an Account Manager/Job Developer for its Workforce Development Program. The candidate needs to be a hardworking, flexible individual with strong communications and sales skills to fill the role of Account Manager and develop business relationships. The ideal candidate is someone with a blend of corporate, staffing agency, human resources, and sales experience. Applicants must have some prior experience developing opportunities in at least one of the following Sectors: Environmental Remediation, Pest Control, Construction or Transportation.
Responsibilities:
As the Account Manager/Job Developer your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
•Developing relationships with hiring authorities at companies throughout the area through networking, cold calling, face to face meetings with potential employers and other business development efforts
•Generating and closing deals based on approved placement assignments
•Maintaining strong relations with employers and growing accounts
•Working with our team to fill orders and meet employer expectations
•Developing placement assignments consistent with training program and skills of graduates and other participants
•Building and maintaining a network of employers with ongoing staffing needs in multiple sectors including Pest Control, Environmental Remediation and Transportation.
•Liaison with staff on maintaining current inventory of graduates/participants available for placement
•Instructing clients on resume writing, job search and interviewing techniques
•Facilitate groups as needed
•Must be comfortable maintaining client information and notes in data bases and using databases as a tool to track progress
•Conducting ongoing market research to determine areas of high employer demand
•Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities that will be assigned on occasion
•Identify and develop a strategic service plan that serves both the needs of the employers and clients
•Able to achieve personal, team and contract goals through teamwork and managing time effectively.
Qualifications:
•A minimum of 3-5 years work experience required
•Bachelor’s Degree
•Excellent communication and relationship building skills
•Highly organized and detail oriented
•Enthusiasm and respect for working with low-income adult population
•Friendly, professional demeanor
•Demonstrated ability to work well independently
•Excellent data management and computer skills
•Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
