Disability Determination Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Disability Determination Specialist to conduct assessments of individual eligibility for services, such as state vocational rehabilitation. In this role, you to review documentation of disabilities, interview individuals regarding their employment capabilities and limitations, and complete written reports with disability determinations.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of experience in an area of disability. You must be able to interpret medical reports as they relate to functional limitations and employment. Your interview and writing skills will be essential to your success in this role. Excellent case management skills and an understanding of the types of services and accommodations employers can provide for those with a qualified disability are a must. Excellent data entry and documentation skills are required, as well as a desire to help those with disabilities overcome barriers to employment.
