We are seeking a Senior Accountant who will assist the Director of Finance in key finance functions including financial reporting, budget monitoring, bank reconciliations, etc.
? Provide oversight of finance transactions for timeliness, accuracy and proper authorization. The areas include Accounts Receivable, Journal Entries and Fixed Assets ? Perform monthly analysis of all receivables and liability accounts for accuracy and appropriateness ? Monthly reporting and reconciliation with various departments ? Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports ? Assist with ensuring all processes are sufficient to support our mission ? Assist with year- end audit process ? Monitor and update all mortgage accounts ? Assist in all external reporting requirements ? Assist with other duties assigned by the Director of Finance
? BA/BS in Accounting from an accredited educational institution, CPA a plus ? 7 years of related non-profit experience preferred ? Major accounting system experience is a must. Fund EZ preferred. ? Must be proficient in MS Excel and possess excellent problem solving and analytical skills ? Must be willing to work in teams as well as take own initiative
