COME ON IRENE. DIGGS IN.

Talk about job swapping. After a lengthy search, the Association for Neighborhood and Housing Development board has hired Irene Baldwin, formerly of the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH), as its new director. Earlier this year, Acting Director Nancy Ignall replaced longtime chief Jay Small. Ignall, in tidy turnabout, has taken a job with with Baldwin's old outfit at CSH's Trenton office.

Marie Runyon, the 80-something Harlem neighborhood organizing legend, has stepped down as director of the Harlem Restoration Corporation. Runyon, a former assemblywoman, who has been active in Upper Manhattan public life since the 1950s, will be replaced by Anthony Diggs, Sr. Diggs is currently director of the Graham-Windham Beacon center at I.S. 195. Diggs will come on board part-time until he can finish up his duties at his old gig in July.
