Alice Proujansky
Alice Proujansky is a photojournalist currently working on a project about birth and culture. She has photographed housing, education, death, food, birth and public policy for the New York Times, the American Journal of Nursing, Edible Manhattan, City Limits and others. She worked as a teaching artist for eight years, teaching photography in Crown Heights, Red Hook, Harlem, East New York, the Lower East Side, Washington Heights and beyond.
