Anthony Smyrski
Anthony Smyrski is a creative director, artist, and cultural producer. He works in both the cultural and commercial spheres with clients and artists around the world. As his practice develops, he engages projects of increasing complexity involving print, web, installation, video, sound and other components. He travels constantly, studying culture, urban environments, and global patterns of human interaction. Findings and insights from his travels are woven throughout his work. Anthony is currently the creative director for Next American City and City Limits magazines. He has designed books for publishers such as Thames and Hudson, Powerhouse, and Gingko Press and led design projects for Maysles Films, Deitch Projects, Steve Powers, The Institute of Contemporary Art (Philadelphia), the Pew Foundation, The Rosenbach Museum and Library, Deloitte, Federal Express, Memphis City Schools, Philagrafika, Wejetset, Creative Time, and The Franklin Institute.
