Michelle Holder
Michelle Holder is a Labor Market Analyst at the Community Service Society of New York where she analyzes and writes about labor market and poverty trends in New York City. Michelle’s research also covers the issue of incarceration in communities of color as well as the impact of imprisonment on subsequent labor market outcomes. A second-generation immigrant, Michelle is a Ph.D. candidate in economics at the New School for Social Research, and holds an M.A. in economics from the New School for Social Research, an M.P.A. from the University of Michigan, and a B.A. in economics from Fordham University.
